Condition
height: 15 1/4 in.width: 9 in.depth: 6 1/2 in.base: 1 3/4 x 9 3/4 x 5 3/4 in.In overall good condition. The work presents well, with the habitual residual dust and grimed lodged in the nooks and crevices of the work. With what appears to be natural splits due to the age and the working of the wood itself, save likely for a thin hairline crack on the right of the torso, running along from the thigh to the hip. The left leg is bolted to the wooden based via a screw which connects to the bottom (see underside). The other leg however is not screwed in. As it is mobile, it freely moves, which explains the various scratches and scuffs on the top of the base, echoing the circular movement of the leg going forward and backward. With a few scuffs, paired with slight abrasions and minor indentations, along the ridges of the base. Otherwise no sign of restoration nor loss. Additional images available upon request.
